Recommended Computer Setup

Why is there a recommended setup?

The simple answer is, times change! New computer languages are being released all the time, and if you want a cutting edge website, you need to use them. What this means is that this website will look different on different browsers, but, we have worked hard to make sure that the layout of the site is universal.

The only difference between newer and older browsers will be some of the "trinketry" won't appear in older browsers; the round corners, semi-transparant modules, and in certain (much older) browsers, the dropdown menus.

What do I need?

In order to view this website in all it's glory, you need to be using a modern browser that supports CSS3, below are our recommendations.

  • Opera - At the time of writing, the most complete CSS3 support and a very lightweight and snappy browser, ideal for older systems. This is our most highly recommended browser for the ordinary user. Ideal for someone who just wants their computer to work.
  • Mozilla Firefox - Probably the heaviest of the modern browsers on yoru system, but a large amount of plugins and extras so you can customize it to your needs. Normally better suited to people with faster computer systems, who are more interested in modifying and customizing.

Other browsers that also work just as well with some subtle differences are Google Chrome and Safari.
